Speaking of weather Julian Hester who con tributed to the cigarette fund for British soldiers before Pearl Har bor gets another letter from an appreciative soldier. This one, Pvt. S. Viince, with the middle east forces in Egypt. He says, “It is plenty hot here and quite a few flies keep you company all day, and the sand gets in your food all the time, but it gives me a great pleasure to be able to write our friends in the U.
